Cancellation /
No-Show
Policy
Stettler Veterinary clinic is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. Due to high demand and our current veterinary shortage, when a client cancels without giving any notice, they prevent another patient from being seen. For this reason, we will now have a No- Show/ Cancellation policy for all surgical and medical appointments scheduled with our veterinarians.
The charge for missed medical appointments or late cancelations is $25.
The charge for missed surgical appointments or late cancelations is $55.
Our goal is to provide prompt care to all our patients and to respect the veterinarian’s time and the constraints of a tightly booked schedule. If you must cancel your appointment, we request a call or email at least 24 hours before your pet’s scheduled appointment. This allows us to accommodate other patients who may need prompt medical care.
Cancellations

an appointment must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations that occur with less than 24 hours may result in a $25 charge. We understand extenuating circumstances do arise, please discuss this with a member of our team for more information.
No-shows

“No-Show” appointments will be charged $25 fee. We understand that extenuating circumstances do arise, please discuss this with a member of our team for more information.
Late

in the event a client arrives late to their appointment (more than 10 minutes after their scheduled appointment time) we can not guarantee the veterinarian will have time for your scheduled appointment. We would be happy to reschedule your appointment for a future date. Should this happen more than once in a calendar year a $25 charge will apply.
New Clients

Currently we do not accept new clients (updated October 1, 2024)

Once we accept new Clients again: If you are a new client (we have never seen you or any of your animals at our clinic) and you do not show up for your scheduled appointment you will not be rescheduled for a new appointment in the future.

Prescription refill and food requests are not a guarantee. You will be contacted by phone if there are any questions or concerns about this request. Please allow up to 4 days for requests to be completed.
Appointment requests are not a guarantee. You will be contacted within 24 hours during the week and within 48 hours on the weekend. This is not an emergency contact. If you have an emergency, please call the clinic.
